Career objective

I am passionate about words and am seeking a career in the media industry. I write quickly, clearly and can adapt to any demands, I have excellent spelling and grammar and the keen eye for detail required for sub-editing and proof-reading.

Both my personality and training have geared me towards the field of communication. I am self-sufficient enough to work on my own, but I also have the interpersonal skills and experience needed to work successfully in a team. My strengths are that I am inventive and resourceful, I am versatile enough to deal with dead-ends and difficulties by thinking creatively on the spot and I am persistent and committed to achieving a standard of excellence with my work. I pick up new skills quickly as I am flexible and I adjust easily to new situations. I work best under pressure and never miss a deadline.

To me, a career in the media industry is a way of life rather than just a job.
